To address youth unemployment, our goal is to shift youths' efforts from seeking jobs to creating marketable opportunities for themselves.
With that, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) introduced the Malaysia Short Term Employment Programme (MySTEP) and JaminKerja initiative under Belanjawan 2021. It aims to provide job opportunities in both the private sector and government bodies and agencies, focusing on areas of high demand in the industry.

Who Are We Looking For?
Recently unemployed or fresh graduates from IPTA, IPTS and Foreign Universities with good academic performance. STEM background is preferred but not required.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, results-driven, agile, positive attitude towards learning and "can-do attitude"
Strong computational thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with keen interest in the technology-related roles and industry

What is the MySTEP x TalentLabs Programme?
It is structured talent development programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Khazanah Nasional, where TalentLabs will provide extensive skills training and short-term job placements for young graduates in top companies.
How much does this programme cost?
Not only it is FREE, but you will also receive a monthly salary of RM2000 throughout the 6-month programme.

You will be eligible to take part in this programme if you meet the criteria below:
How is the selection process like?
If selected, you will be asked to participate in a virtual interview, after which a member of our team will reach out with next steps. In addition, will be asked to complete a technical assessment during the selection process.
How is the structure of the programme?
This is a 6-month programme, where you will experience 2 months of online learning to develop your skills and 4 months of on-the-job training with our hiring partners.
How many intakes are there?
We will be having 4 intakes starting from April 2022.

Once you have successfully completed the 6-month programme, depending on your performance, our host companies are more than happy to absorb you as one of their full-time employees.
